We hired Gabo for our wedding at Hacienda Dzibikak. As someone who always feels awkward in front of a camera, I was very relieved to work with Gabo. He has such a calming presence and captured so many beautiful portraits. When it then started to pour on our wedding day, we were naturally a bit stressed, but Gabo didn't miss a beat. Gabo and his staff adapted to the weather and kept us on schedule, all while maintaining a calm energy. Gabo was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding at Hacienda Uayamón in Campeche. Before the wedding, we also did a pre-wedding shoot with him at our hotel and around the city, and it was incredible from start to finish. He was responsive, easy to communicate with, and clearly understood the vision we were going for every step of the way. On the wedding day itself, he made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, even though it was just the two of us with zero guests. In the end, he delivered over 800 photos, and we've genuinely struggled to narrow down our favorites because every single one is stunning. If you're planning a destination wedding in the Yucatán, Gabo is the photographer you want behind the lens.

I trusted my wedding planner’s recommendation so much that I didn’t even contact Gabo before the wedding. But when I met him (on the big day), he and his team immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease — they have such a good vibe.

In the days after the wedding, I was dying to see the photos. I worried about everything — my eye makeup caused irritation, so I saw everything blurry for most of the day, haha. I didn’t know how I’d look in the pictures, everything felt like it happened so fast, and I was also worried the natural light wouldn’t be enough (our wedding started at 6 PM and the photo session was just one hour before).

So many thoughts… but now that I have the photos, I can only feel endlessly grateful for such beautiful memories. Spontaneous moments, some classic ones — but all of them reflect the incredible work of Gabo and his team. I truly believe photography is the best way to capture those soul-filling moments in an image.
